Cladding and panels

The envelope decides what the building costs to run. It is worth specifying properly.

Clad and finished single storey block
Why it matters

The frame is a one off cost. The envelope is a running one.

A single skin sheet and an insulated panel look similar on a drawing and behave nothing alike in service. One keeps the rain out; the other decides how hard your air conditioning works for years to come.

We specify the build up against the conditions the building will actually operate in, and design the roof to the client’s choice.
